What is VDX file format?
The VDX file format, which stands for Vector Design eXchange, is a vector graphics format created by Corel Corporation for use with their CorelDRAW software. This proprietary file format can store both vector and raster images, and is based on the .cdr file format. VDX files support layers, anchors, text, and other vector data, as well as bitmaps. While similar to .svg and .cgm formats, VDX is not interchangeable with them.
The VDX format is particularly useful for complex technical drawings and illustrations that need to be shared between different applications, operating systems, and platforms. It is capable of handling large amounts of data and can maintain high levels of detail even when scaled to different sizes.
